Your prep is due before the Forge – it tightens as the year gets heavier
PREP DEADLINE LOOKUP
| Unit band | Prep due | What you submit · to the Text Coach |
|---|---|---|
| U1–U2 | 5 days before the Forge | Evidence Map (Jury) · evidence packet (Researcher) · bench prep (everyone) |
| U3 | 4 days before the Forge | same |
| U4–U8 | 48 hours before – hard, no exceptions | same |
Miss a hard deadline (U4+) and you do not debate this unit. You may jury or bench. Other students built their prep around yours.

Reading schedule reminder
Pace by your reading guide’s chapter blocks, not a page count. Finish the book by the Forge.
| Phase | What this means |
|---|---|
| U1–U2 | You’re building the habit. Trust the loop. |
| U3 | Momentum is highest. Do not coast. |
| U4–U8 | The fire is real. Fall behind here and you lose a role. |
Watch these three
U4 is short but lands in December – holiday risk; catch up before break. U5 is a play across the semester gap – get ahead, don’t disappear. U6 is the longest book in 3 weeks – by then you’ve earned the pace.
