PRINTABLE WORKSHEETS
Every mentor worksheet on its own page
WORKSHEETS
These are the mentor's print-ready worksheets: fuller versions for mentor reference, overflow, and any student who wants more room. Each carries a red "Print this" banner naming the sheet and how many copies to run. These are fuller than the student §9 tear-outs. When you need an exact copy of what a student already has (an extra Evidence Map for an absent juror), print that from the Student Binder §9 so the juror gets the same sheet.
HOW TO USE
THESE SHEETS
Cheat sheet for this pad: Arms Room → Unit Cover · Forge → your role sheet · Tavern → Reflection + Story Layer. Everyone keeps Bench prep ready.
- Monday night: open the Week-by-Week Guide, know this week's session and what to read.
- Arms Room week: fill Unit Cover after role assignment. Start ACTOR Log if you want nightly structure.
- Forge week: pull one role sheet (Moderator / Debater / Researcher / Jury). Everyone also has Bench Prep ready.
- Before the Forge: submit per deadline band: U1–2: 5 days · U3: 4 days · U4–8: 48 hours hard.
- Tavern week: Forge Reflection (the argument) + Story Layer Draft (you, 5 years out). Not the same document.

UNIT COVER
Unit dashboard. Fill after Arms Room: your role, deadline, debate question, and the quotes that carry the argument (trunk, not leaves).

Unit Cover · 2 of 4
Unit Cover · quotes 2 and 3. More evidence; still trunk, not leaves.
Unit Cover · 3 of 4
Unit Cover · blade, shield, range. Your opening, your answer to them, what you cannot cover.
Unit Cover · 4 of 4

DEBATER PREP
Build → break → land. You speak exactly twice: opening, then rebuttal or closing. Claim in sentence one: do not improvise it.
Debater · 1 of 5
Debater · quote 2. Same side or new angle: tie each quote to your claim.
Debater · 2 of 5
Debater · quote 3. Your third anchor from the text.
Debater · 3 of 5
Debater · external source + opening script. Verify you opened and read it.
Opened and read ☐
Debater · 4 of 5
Debater · impact + counters. Attack their strongest point first.
Debater · 5 of 5
Debater · live notes. What they targeted tells you what to rebut or close.
EVIDENCE PACKET
Ammunition for both sides. Four verified pieces (2 Aff, 2 Neg). Send to debaters by the prep deadline. Neutrality is your superpower.
Researcher · 1 of 3
Researcher · Negative evidence. Same neutrality: document gaps if you cannot find sources.
Researcher · 2 of 3
Researcher · after-action. What evidence correlated with changed minds?
Researcher · 3 of 3
JURY WORKSHEET
You are the judge. Submit Evidence Map to Text Coach by deadline. Vote before and after; ask one text-based question per side.
Jury Evidence Map · 1 of 4
Jury Evidence Map · Affirmative quote 2.
Jury Evidence Map · 2 of 4
Jury Evidence Map · Negative quote 1.
Jury Evidence Map · 3 of 4
Jury Evidence Map · Negative quote 2.
Jury Evidence Map · 4 of 4
Jury · pre-vote + questions. Text-based, 20 seconds when spoken.
Jury · vote 1 of 2
Jury · during + post-vote. Evidence vs. emotion; say what moved you or what they failed to prove.
Jury · vote 2 of 2
BENCH PREP
The debate never cancels. Everyone preps both sides every unit. If called in, expand what you already wrote: 2 minutes, claim → evidence → impact.
If called: claim → evidence → impact · 2 min
FORGE REFLECTION
About the argument, not you, not the book report. What shifted? What counter stuck? Fuel for your Anvil. Not the Story Layer.
STORY LAYER
You, five years out. Nirvana first, name the cost, forget the how. If you mention the debate question, wrong document.
5yr ☐ nirvana ☐ no how ☐
Story Layer · 1 of 3
Story Layer · draft continued. Still five years out; still no how-to list.
Story Layer · 2 of 3
Story Layer · finish draft + name the cost. Specific, not vague.
Not the debate question.
Story Layer · 3 of 3
ACTOR LOG
Nightly reading loop: five minutes. Skip a step, you skipped the loop.
